Make a Splash
This course is designed for 7+ year-olds as an Introduction to the world of paddling activities. Over three days we will visit some of the most spectacular lakes in the area and enjoy many good times on the water. We will use beginner friendly equipment and venues to create a safe and fun learning environment.
This is a great option if you are looking to get your little ones into paddling early.

Beyond the Basics. Next steps whitewater course for bow valley youth.
The Beyond Basics course is our "next steps" program for u18s that have completed a beginner course and want to take up whitewater kayaking as a hobby.
The "beyond basics" program, will improve technical ability, and confidence on more challenging features and different rivers.
We will explore more of the river, gain confidence going through bigger waves and features, learn more about line-choice, river reading, maneuvers, rescue tactics, equipment, and teamwork.Monday - Friday July 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th

Bow Valley Local Youth Beginner Camp
The zero to hero program is a five day program designed to get you from having never sat in a boat; to navigating Whitewater rapids with style. Over five days we will learn all the necessary skills to enter the world of Whitewater paddle sports. This will include equipment, weather, water levels, paddling technique, decision making, navigating obstacles and rapids, and ultimately having the best times making great friends in some of the most picturesque landscapes on the planet.
Monday - Friday July 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th
Monday - Friday July 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th
Monday - Friday August 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th
* this is a subsidised course that we receive grants in order to run. Participants must live, full time, in the bow valley (anywhere from lake louise to kananaskis area).
