Dates: Fri 26th, Sat 27th, and Sun 28th of July (arriving the Friday evening)
Hello fellow members and welcome to the page for the Club trip to the Red Deer River!
The Red Deer River is a world class river. There is something for literally everyone to enjoy: Easier class 1 stretches, class 2 bouncy wave train perfection, more play waves and play holes than you can shake a stick at, and grade 2+/3 Ledges to boof off!
Absolutely gorgeous blue water, beautiful wildlife, and epic tanning weather are almost guaranteed.
We are offering some novice and intermediate guiding available for those looking for guiding/coaching/someone to be your hero baby.
We are also hoping to have a Surf Rodeo Jam session at the wave on S bend on the Saturday afternoon. We will hopefully get some prizes, judges and safety boaters together to put on a fun Jam Session for all abilities.
There are plans the worlds first five-legged race for Saturday evening. I hear a representative from Guinness World Records will be documenting this groundbreaking new sport. Get your crew together and start training!
There are some lovely campsites by the river with tenting and RV parking available, some of which have the option of staying in little chalets. As soon as i have an Idea of numbers i'll get a site booked for us.
This will be the second of hopefully three (maybe four) BVKC club trips this year.
